June 13th is International Pigeon Day AND Bonus Day at GlobalGiving

MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue is at a cross-roads. We will either fundraise enough to sustain our current level of operations or we will need to scale back considerably.

Last year MickaCoo placed 333 pigeons and doves into wonderful, forever homes. They would have been killed if we hadn't.

Please help us to continue this unique, compassion-building and life-saving work. Celebrate International Pigeon Day (6/13) by making a generous donation to MickaCoo through the GlobalGiving site. On that day, donations have the potential of earning a matching 30% bonus. Your $100 donation could mean $130 of funding for MickaCoo.

• Bonus Day begins at 12:01 am EDT on June 13, 2012. (That's 9 PM on 6/12 for those in Pacific Standard Time.)
• There is $75,000 in matching funds. Once funds have been depleted, no more donations will be matched.
• GlobalGiving will match up until $1,000 per donor until matching funds run out;
• The organization that raises the most funds on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000 from GlobalGiving.
• The organization that has the most unique donors on Bonus Day will receive an additional $1,000 from GlobalGiving.
