Carmen

Carmen is just a young pigeon, a squeaker about 6 weeks old, found as a stray on 5/24 at the corner of Harrison & 26th and rescued by SF ACC. I saw her on my visit on 6/2 and, though I didn't have room to bring her home, didn't have the heart to leave her. She's sick with canker and is now being treated in my kitchen counter pigeon hospital.

Carmen did not respond to treatment and died quietly in the night.
