Quinn

Quinn is a young king pigeon found stray in Oakland and taken to the Marin Humane Society in Novato on 1/2/12.

She has a wing injury and is unable to fly. MHS asked MickaCoo to take her into rescue care.

Just before I arrived to pick her up, a terribly sick and weak baby king pigeon that had been found at Fisherman's Wharf arrived. The Good Samaritans that rescued him drove him all the way to Novato. I took this baby home but he died within hours despite our efforts. I named him Prince.

Quinn though is in good shape and is happy to be out in the aviary with other pigeons. She (I think) took a bath first thing this morning.
