Rome
Rome, so named because her (?) elegant nose and long lines made me think of Rome, was brought home as a foster from ACC on 5/1. She was found as a stray on 4/19 at the corner of Folsom & Ripley. For now, she stays to herself on top of the nestbox in the aviary. She's a strikingly beautiful bird. She seems healthy and is available for adoption.

9/11/08 Update
Rome has mated with Opal. They are a strikingly beautiful couple and chose the center left box in the "Hollywood Squares" nestbox.
12/4/08 Update
Rome and his mate Opal have been adopted by a wonderful family and now live (happily ever after) with their friends Billie & George, Willow & Blue and three chickens in a big, gorgeous aviary.
