Chase
Chase is a strikingly marked racing pij that wound up at SFACC without a band. She's completely blind in her left eye and may have impaired vision in her right (see photo below showing unusual appearance).
She was rescued from SFACC by volunteer foster Cheryl and quickly hooked up with Teddy- another rescued pij.
More of Chase's story will be posted as time allows.

Chase is such an amazing looking bird! I love its striking plumage. She's made me realize I need to get your advice on creating my aviary "user friendly" to the disabled (flightless and visually impaired). Any suggestions would be appreciated. May has well do it now as I'm creating the aviary.
