PIGEON HELP!
I often receive e-mail requests for help regarding pigeons and the very best advice I can give is to direct you to a WONDERFUL web group called Pigeon Talk. It is a big, helpful, generous community of pigeon people from all over the world (including your part), and populated by experts as well as newbies like me. You can search previous posts for info about what to do for a hurt pigeon, how to help a baby dove, where to adopt, where to buy supplies and so on. You can also post your question or concern and get multiple responses back within hours (sometimes minutes).
So go to Pigeon Talk! (www.pigeons.biz/forums)

Hello
We noticed a pigeon in the park had hard time flying wings look clipped and had one blue band and one red the blue one had BPA IF 173 on it and red one was blank, I tried researching it and i contacted berks pigeon association thru face book but had no answer, he was hungry and a little week so now he is safe with us nice pigeon and he eats and drinks and stays in dog crate I am not sure who owns him but he can stay with us, what should I do? If his wings are clipped how did he end up at a park? Do you think he will be happy by himself or needs a mate and I am not sure how you can tell if its female or male. Any ideas
Thanks Dawn
