Saffron

Saffron is an adult king pigeon that landed in SFACC on 4/25/10. In the picture taken at intake, she's shown with a baby king that I believe died shortly after arrival. She (I think) is a big bird and happy to be out of the small shelter cage and free to move about in the company of other pigeons in my backyard coop. I'd guess she's about two years old.
