Ariel
Ariel, a four week-old baby king pigeon, was found as a stray wandering around Dolores Park in SF on 2/24/10- lost, scared and on the verge of starvation.
While at SFACC on 2/25 doing a welfare check on the twelve (!) pigeons they had in the shelter, I saw what poor condition she was in and knew she needed foster care and treatment if she was to survive.
I brought her and two other at-risk baby pigeons (Soho & Butters) home and cared for all three until they recovered their health. Ariel was emaciated and I had to handfeed her for the first couple of days.

Two weeks later and Ariel is doing great. Her weight and strength have been regained and she enjoys the company of her friends Soho & Butters in the foster care of MickaCoo volunteer Loreli.
Ariel is available for adoption. Please contact me at AdoptKings@gmail.com.
