Wanda
This lovely king pigeon cross that I've named Wanda was found as a stray 6/12 on Irving Street in SF and ended up at the city shelter- SFACC. She (?) is now being fostered in my backyard coop for MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue.
I almost named her Candy because she is a really delectable palette of lilac and toffee and chocolate and sugar white. And she has two different color eyes (as do I though the difference between mine isn't as dramatic). Her right is a dark brown king pigeon eye and her left is the bright red of another breed. Neither is injured, she's just naturally got two different color eyes. (Another king pigeon with two different colored eyes was found and adopted by her rescuer in SF. She's named Sparkle.)
Wanda is available for adoption. She's frightened of people but easy going with the other pigeons in the coop. Lovely bird.
