Sunny

Sunny is a white homing pigeon with an injured but not broken wing and a really bad case of coccidia. She was found as a stray and taken in by the San Jose Animal Shelter on 5/12 and then was picked up and taken into MickaCoo foster care on 5/22.

Dr. Kureshi of the Cupertino Animal Hospital and his staff were kind enough to fit us in that same day for diagnostics and treatment.

She (?) is a sweet bird that is recuperating. She wasn't feeling very well on Saturday but is doing better and is expected to make a full recovery. If you're able, please donate a bit towards her vet bill by clicking here. She will be available for adoption soon.
