Tum Tum

Tum Tum is a tiny, perfect little white pigeon with big, dark eyes that, according to her Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority history, was "found sitting in the middle of the road (at Budd & Nido in Santa Clara) by taxi driver and brought to clinic" on 4/23.

Mickaboo Volunteer Katie, who's making a King Pigeon Rescue video for YouTube and other uses, transported Tum Tum from the South Bay shelter to me on 5/8 when she came to shoot more footage of me and the loft pigeons. Tum Tum originally joined the five other rescues in my downstairs room but has, since the adoption of eight kings on 5/11, moved outdoors to the loft. She's courting with gianormous Jazzy and they are already nest hunting.
