Millie
Millie Vanillie (as I call her), was found as a stray near the corner of Revere and Rankin in SF on 5/21 and rescued by Animal Control Officers. She was at SFACC until I brought her home as a foster on 6/12. (I picked up two quail at the same time who were taken in by a Mickaboo adopter in San Jose.)
She was pretty happy to get out of a small cage and into the loft, even though the welcoming committee was a little overwhelming. I didn't know she was a hen until all the cock pigeons showed me that she was.
She and Kizzie hooked up almost immediately and are now a couple. They are available for adoption.

These seem like two birds that I could make very happy here. What do I need to do to arrange an adoption.
Background. I have raised the utility breeds for many years and at one time had a large loft of Indian Mondaines and Swiss Mondaines. The Kings you show in your photos look like the original Swiss Mondaine type that I favor.
I am a Permaculturist in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. My birds enjoy clean, dry, safe housing with forays each day into the food forests surrounding our homestead.
