Happy to Be Back at Andy's (100% Rescue) Pet Shop!
My first post about Andy's was made on 7/30/08. Wow, how time flies. After a two year gap, MickaCoo is thrilled to once again have birds fostered at Andy's (100% Rescue) Pet Shop at 51 Notre Dame in Downtown San Jose.
Thanks to an incredibly generous aviary donation by Anita of For Other Living Things (pictured below with Santino)...
and wonderful storage, transport and assembly assistance from Nyla Copp of Birdie Buddy...
and the tireless efforts and generous support of the people who power Andy's (staffer Cassie and owner Lissa pictured below)...
MickaCoo Pigeon & Dove Rescue is very happy to have four additional foster spots and an exponential increase in exposure and public awareness for pigeons in need of adoption.
The first new fosters to benefit from all of this generosity and support are Ed (lighter) & Lulu (darker), two adorable little West of England Tumblers that were surrendered to Berkeley Animal Care and who MickaCoo was asked to rescue.
And Ed & Lulu have been joined by another adorable couple, Robbie (male, on the left in both pictures below) and his mate Stanley (named by his rescuer before she realized he was a she).
This is a very extra-cute, adorable quartet of pigeons. They are small and fancy and mellow. They are healthy and easy to love. They need a HOME!
Please support Andy's (100% Rescue) Pet Shop and say Hello to MickaCoo's foster pigeons while you're there.
To adopt Ed & Lulu and/or Robbie & Stanley, please complete our online application. To support MickaCoo's work saving birds like these from being killed in animal shelters as "surplus", please make a tax-deductible donation here.
Thank you.
