This is a really fun event, hosted by our parrot-rescue partner Mickaboo (which generously allows MickaCoo to join in), and a great opportunity to get together, have some fun and hang out with a whole bunch of bird rescuers while also supporting the birds!

Mickaboo Companion BirdRescue is the biggest and best bird rescue in Northern California. They have saved the lives of thousands of parrots, from budgies and cockatiels to cockatoos and macaws and everybody in between since 1996.

MICKABOO COMPANION BIRD RESCUE Annual Holiday Costume Party & Fundraiser

Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue's Annual Holiday Costume Party and Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 5-9 pm at Eagles Hall, 527 North Livermore Avenue in Livermore, CA. Admission is $15 per person; $27 per couple. Children age 10 and under are free.

Come meet the faces behind the rescue and learn more about companion birds. There will be a raffle as well as a silent auction, which features a weekend getaway to the Mendocino coast at La Puerta Del Mar. Bring a non-poultry potluck dish and receive free raffle tickets. Prizes will be awarded for best costume.

All proceeds to benefit Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue (and MickaCoo silent auction purchases benefit MickaCoo).

Mickaboo is a nonprofit organization located in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to rescuing companion birds (parrot-type and other commonly domesticated birds) that have been neglected, abused, injured or surrendered. It exists to ensure that these birds will have a safe, loving environment for life. Mickaboo strives to educate bird owners on the most current care information, so that the medical, emotional, and dietary needs of their birds will be met.
