Salary Worthy? Survey Responses
I don't believe that 200 justifies a full-time staff position, but since you have already done more than that already in 2011, you are probably looking at 500 or more in 2011, and that is enough to need someone full time.

I think that a full time staff position is justified, but a realistic salary such as $40,000 or more per year should require additional fund raising responsibilities, etc.

I feel that yes, volunteer efforts benefit from the support of dedicatethink it could also be staff. However, I wonder if it might be possible to identify a few other volunteers to take on the burdens rather than one person doing all the work (which doesn't sound fully sustainable paid or otherwise. You do a lot!)

Definitely justifies a paid position - not sure if it's full-time or part-time because I'm not aware of the level of work involved.

My real answer is yes. But part time paid might be more do-able than full time paid?

I would check with wildlife rescue - I know they are run on mostly volunteers - but somehow they bring in cash but I'm not sure from what sources - Maybe it's just how Mickacoo is organized that makes it too overwhelming/impossible for one person to do/spend so many hours doing. And unfortunately I'm not sure this full-time position would pay more than $25K per year - possibly less

I think if you want to make the move to a paid position you need to separate from Mickaboo. The only paid position I would even consider would be a paid fund raiser that produces results.
