Pierre UPDATE 4/20/10

Pierre's post-op pictures have arrived -

Pierre is out of surgery and "standing on his own two feet" (with a little help from some bone pins and a snowboard-type hobble contraption)! I bet he's surprised! I bet Piper is too.

Dr. Speer is pleased with the outcome and says Pierre did very well. He says that Pierre is opinionated and spunky and does not want to be handled. (Good for you, Pierre!)

He's in Oakley (40 miles from me in SF) and so I can't easily get any pictures to post but I'm told that the Medical Center For Birds folks are going to send me some.

I'll post them as soon as I get them.
