MickaCoo is full to over flowing with king pigeons in need of adoption.

My loft was overfull with fosters and Andy's Pet Shop was full and Marin Humane Society was full and my adopters were full all before SF ACC picked up the surviving 35 baby king pigeons (of the 50 dumped at Lake Merced).

Of those 35, 4 have been adopted, 15 are being fostered in Southern California with MickaCoo adopter and volunteer and superhero, Diane; 9 (plus a prior 7) are being generously fostered at the Marin Humane Society in Novato and the others died of/were euthanized for illness (I usually take in and care for the sick ones but didn't have the room).

All these birds are VERY fortunate to have such comfortable foster homes but they need permanent adoptive homes as soon as possible. Shelters like the Marin Humane Society are constantly inundated with surrendered and homeless animals and they have to make room for those that will be coming in.





I feel really bad for the next helpless king that gets dumped because I'm going to have to turn it away unless we get some new adopters and/or fosters. We have successfully shipped birds to AZ, OH, ID, GA & WI. To help, e-mail Elizabeth at AdoptKings@gmail.com
