Sizzler

Sizzler is a very lucky feral pigeon that was found as an injured fledgling over a year ago in front of the Tanforan Sizzler in San Bruno. She was lovingly cared for by her rescuers who hoped that with time she would recover fully enough to go free.

She has regained the ability to fly a little but not enough to survive out in the wild. While Neela and Margaret grew very attached to her, they were also concerned about their ability to provide her with a full and high quality bird life and so have surrendered her to MickaCoo, entrusting us to find a wonderful and pigeon-appropriate forever home for her. They gave me a very generous contribution in support of my pigeon rescue efforts and encouraged me to keep doing what I do for these "guileless creatures".

Sizzler is both happy and a little nervous about her new life in my foster aviary and all her new pigeon friends. There are a couple of bachelors who are showing off for her but little Olgi has taken to just staying close by. He's going the friends first approach.
